Just like magic, storytelling is fun and everyone can be taught how to do it.

As an educator, I’ve been distilling this idea into my students in creative writing classes for years, and it’s this same message I deliver whether it’s to large crowds during keynote speeches or more intimate conversations at writing retreats or classrooms. Students, librarians, teachers, writers, business folks, the method varies, but the message, sense of humor, and high level of nerdiness stays the same.
